| Description: | The 1973 MK 1 needs no introduction, often considered Canada's most successful design. This is a beautiful and well-maintained classic boat. The interior layout finds a balance between racing and cruising, able to sleep five with a private V-birth. Very stiff in heavy air and safe off-shore, Siren Song has comfortably explored most of eastern Canada and handled very strong breeze between Louisbourg and Newfoundland without any issues. She's been a trusted member of the family for 15 years. The Westerbeke diesel engine (15hp) was rebuilt in 2016 and serviced regularly. Rigging is minimal, uncomplicated. The Mark 1 was built exceptionally strong, without a balsa core.
Included is an excellent steel cradle (refit 2018), a new dodger (2022), furler, the sails are all in good shape; the hull received a new barrier coat in 2021 and it's bottom-painted with micronCSC. Also included are the instruments, a new compass, two anchors, two 14V marine batteries, an inflatable dinghy, barbecue, safety equipment and so on. The boat is ready to go sailing.

I am both reluctant and motivated to sell this great boat.
