Surprise boasts 3 water tanks with a combined capacity of 200 gals, a 6kW Northern Lights generator, and 35 lb Delta anchor with 150 ft of galvanized chain rode supported by a Simpson Lawrence 1500 electric windlass which makes weeks on anchor a delight. Also included in the sale is a 2020 Highfield UL 310 RIB dinghy with two outboards - one 15 hp Mercury and one 4 hp Tohatsu.

After berthing primarily in freshwater, Surprise completed a round-trip cruise to Key West, FL from Washington, DC in 2021 and benefitted from several upgrades including all new house, starter, and windless batteries, increased anchor rode, rebuilt generator cooling system, new running rigging, minor sail repairs, through-hulls and seacocks brought up to ABYC code, and updated charts.
