Description: |
This turnkey pocket cruiser is an excellent choice for those looking for an easy-to-sail vessel that's perfect for solo trips or a day out on the Bay. Equipped with a deep keel (measuring 4.5 ft), this boat is stable and reliable, ensuring a smooth and safe journey every time.
Despite being an 80s model, this boat is in excellent condition, making it a great investment for anyone seeking a reliable vessel that's ready to go. Have owned the boat for less than a year, selling it because I'am moving out of the country because of work. The boat has even had a history of racing, giving it some extra features, such as a max-sized jib, that makes it stand out from other boats of its kind.It is also equipped with a fully serviced 6HP Tohatsu outboard motor, making it easy to get started and allowing you to focus on your sailing experience.
The boat has undergone recent maintenance to ensure it's in top condition. The Tohatsu 6HP outboard motor has been fully serviced in Spring 2022 and starts effortlessly, providing reliable and easy operation. In addition, the bottom of the boat was cleaned, and the paint was touched up in May 2022, ensuring a clean and polished look. |
Equipment: |
The boat had a bustling year in 2021, with many enhancements and modifications implemented to ensure it's ready for your next adventure. The bottom has been sanded and painted with Odyssey HD, giving it a clean and fresh look. The standing rigging has been professionally installed and tuned, and a new jib roller furler has been added along with a new 150 Genoa/Jib. Additionally, most cushions have new upholstery, and the galley plumbing has been fixed.
All electronics, including GPS, speed, depth, lights, and radio, have been checked and are in perfect working order, except for the anchor light that needs a new bulb. The Portapotty is trouble-free, and the bilge is clean and dry. The deck and hull have no known issues.
As for sleeping arrangements, a couple or young family would be very comfortable for weekend cruises. This boat has been primarily used as a day sailor and offers nimbleness and sailing simplicity similar to that of a Flying Scot, which translates to a fun and enjoyable sailing experience. |
