26' MacGregor 26M

Saoirse (Freedom) is a fully equipped, ready to sail 2009 McGregor 26M. This beautiful trailerable sailboat is the perfect combination of sailboat and powerboat.
As a sailboat, it is easily transportable, weighing only 3500 pounds empty and is easy to set up. The use of water ballast and a retractable dagger board make it a stable sailing platform that is great for beginning or accomplished sailors. Additionally, with the dagger board pulled up, it has a draft of less than 6 inches, allowing it to get places that very few other sailboats can go, including beaching it on a sandbar for a shore-time picnic. The hull is foam filled making it incredibly safe and effectively unsinkable. There are numerous manufacturer videos online showing this being tested that can be checked out.
As a powerboat, is equipped with a Tohatsu 70 TLDI 2 stroke EFI engine. This will move the boat at 20 to 22 miles an hour, great for pulling a tube or raft full of kids or beating a pop-up storm back to the pier.
A roomy cabin with 6 headroom sleeps 6 and comes equipped with a slideable galley containing a Cookmate 2100 alcohol stove and manual pump sink. A Coleman 2 burner propane stove is also included. A private head has a Dometic 965 MSD toilet with a 5 gallon capacity. This unit is plumbed as a Coast Guard approved MSD which allows dockside pump-out or remote tank discharge.
Topside cockpit seating has separate cushions, factory sternrail seats, and a rail mounted Magna propane marine grill. Cushions inside and out are in great shape and have no rips, tears, or stains.
Saoirse comes with two factory main sails and a 140 Genoa, both with Sunbrella covers. Additionally, she has a mainsail lazyjack setup, a Sunbrella bimini with cover, full cockpit cover, a full length winter cover for storage, and a freshly painted bottom.
