1977 Santana 20 Sailboat "HOT ROD" Ready to Race Hull #99 with new deck
This boat is an excellent example of a Santana 20. It's an updated boat with the modern open transom and a newer mast. This boat is ready to sail and more importantly, ready to win races. It was expertly refit for the 2024 National Championship in Dillon and has been stored indoors since. Some of the improvements made were reinforcing mast step, the bulkheads, the keel supports, replacing the running rigging, and more. A lot of time, effort, and money has been spent making this a good performing race boat. The trailer was also serviced at the same time with new bearings and tires in May of 2024.
Includes: Race sails (Spin, Jib, Main, Genoa) New running rigging 7/24 New tires and bearings 5/24 Velocitek Speedpuck ($500 new) Ramp launch trailer with clean title
This boat is perhaps the most famous Santana 20. With it's wicked paint job, it turns heads and starts conversations. Everybody loves and knows when HOT ROD is on the move. It's a proven race winner. I have plenty of spare sails that can be included as well.
Currently located in Lafayette, CO. This boat is ready to sail and race, just add water.
