Limax II sits at the very top of the Jeanneau Yachts range. As the flagship Jeanneau Yacht 65, she was conceived as a true custom bluewater cruising yacht. This 65 blends long-range offshore capability, short-handed ease of handling, and the volume and comfort only a yacht of this class can offer.

The long waterline and efficient hull deliver excellent performance both under sail and power. She is notably strong in light air, yet carries the displacement, form stability, and twin-rudder configuration that provide real security and control in heavy weather. Under power, practical passagemaking speeds sit comfortably in the high-8-knot range, with a maximum speed of approximately 1010.5 knots when required for weather management or port timing. This is a yacht designed around efficiency, control, and endurance.

What truly sets Limax II apart is how she was specified and used. The owner set out to solve what is often missing in this model: genuine offshore sailing capability combined with true family liveaboard comfort. While many Jeanneau 65s remain lightly optioned and oriented toward dockside luxury or coastal cruising, Limax II was deliberately customized for real sailing, long passages, and short handed operation, without compromising the refinement expected of a flagship yacht.

Over six months of focused preparation, the yacht was upgraded with:

A proper offshore sail plan, including a full North Sails performance inventory (main, genoa, jib, and gennaker), inner forestay, running backstays, and dual boom-preventer systems

Energy independence and redundancy, combining a new high-capacity diesel generator, dual Remoran hydro-generators, expanded battery capacity, and upgraded charging systems

Serious offshore safety equipment, including dual Viking liferafts and comprehensive long-range safety and recovery systems
