Launched in 1986, the 33-2 was a modernized redesign. Lighter and more performance-oriented, it featured a fin keel (standard or shoal draft) and a spade rudder for improved handling. It catered to the growing PHRF racing scene and family. Yanmar diesel engine (typically 2GM20F, 18 hp) for reliable auxiliary power. Very nice Pearson 33-2 Cruising sailboat. Great sailing performance. New main sail. A recent survey shows excellent condition. This boat is on land. I am the owner of Sailors Cove Marine, the yard where this boat is stored. Storage cradle included. This is the centerboard version of the Pearson 33-2. Great for Lake St Clair or any other shoal body of water. Min draft board up 3.6 ft Max draft board down 7 ft Aft cockpit. Masthead auxiliary sloop, two-spreader-rigged. Deck stepped New main sail with battens Tape drive Genoa & Multicolor Genoa. on a Harken roller furling. Cruising chute with snuffer. All lines led aft through sheet stoppers to the cockpit.
