Do you dream of cruising the Pacific Northwest, up the Inside Passage to Alaska and just need a good vessel to take you there? Summer Wine is an exceptional good ole boat a sea-kindly, seaworthy and fast escape pod! She has a bright and spacious interior with ample storage space thats comfortable while cruising and/or living aboard. We have owner her since June of 2016. Since then, Summer Wine has sailed the southern Gulf Islands / Salish Sea area. She has been consistently well-maintained and upgraded.
1979 Crown 34, designed by Hein Driehuyzen, built (in fibreglass) by Calgan Marine in North Vancouver BC Canada (the last one of 30 built by Calgan before the mold/design was sold to create the San Juan 34 and inspire the hull design of the Sceptre 36 by the same marine architect)

Running rigging leads back to the cockpit through clutches
Well maintained 4 cyl, 40hp VW Pathfinder diesel engine (injector pump rebuilt 2017 / injectors & glow plugs replaced 2017/ timing adjusted in 2018; transmission fully rebuilt with seal kit & clutch pack in Oct of 2024 .. all by Gartside Marine); runs like a dream!
12 3-blade Max prop, 1 s/s shaft (packing replaced Spring 2022 / prop coated with zinc spray in March of 2023)
