49' Liberty world class cruiser 49ft

Outside United States

Description: NO BROKERS

On the water in USVI for the winter season after splashing in Grenada and having a super sail up there for the winter season.

She is a truly outstanding example of design genius with a 1 inch solid GRP core by the keel, so no doubt 3/4 inch thick all over the rest of the hull (it seems there is a core sample by the nav station which I can show you).
Notable Naval Architect Stan Huntingford designed the Liberty 49 to provide the market with a luxurious solidly built, safe performance oriented and comfortable long-distance passage maker. The Liberty 49 is a truly great design inside and out. Whether you are looking to cross oceans, live aboard at a marina or on the hook, or do a little of both you will find she checks all the boxes. Mr. Huntingford has incorporated into this solid and sturdy ocean going yacht, both seaworthiness and ample interior space that offers very practical and luxurious accommodations coupled with safe and comfortable cruising.
She is hull number 11 of 13 built. Note that Liberty 49s rarely come on the market. The craftsmanship of the interior and joinery in her is incredible. Teak throughout in superb condition. Teak and holly sole throughout gleams. The ventilation supplied by multiple dorades, opening bronze port lights, sea capable deck hatches, electric fans and two Air conditioning units. Lighting is bright and airy through deck prisms, side lights, portholes, and multiple hi/low and nighttime electric light fixtures throughout every part of the yacht.
She is an exceptional yacht and has enjoyed excellent ongoing and expert maintenance. Liberty's are known to be a top of the line design and build. They are a stable and fast cruising yacht. She is a perfect example of a classic offshore design with one of the warmest, roomiest, most luxurious and comfortable interiors available in a cruising yacht of this size.
