Description: |
This 1986 40 Hunter Legend had been customized by the previous owner by removing the low profile aft stateroom and turning it into a large storage area to store the 5Kw Northern Lights generator, the 12V /110V Whirlpool fridge freezer, 2- 35 gallon fuel tanks, 1 for the engine and 1 for the generator, excellent aft engine access and storage for tool boxes and spare parts. He had also built a custom stall shower behind the head for ease of use. The salon has 2 huge settees and the starboard settee extends to a queen size berth. There are abundant shelves throughout the vessel as well as lockers and cubbies for storage. The 100W solar panel keeps the 4-6 volt house batteries charged and the generator will run the 16,000 btu air conditioning at anchor. The only cabin is the V-berth stateroom with abundant shelving, opening hatch and has an extra long berth extra wide berth. The cockpit is comfortable with destroyer steering wheel with below decks autopilot, 6 self tailing winches on the coaming in case you wish to do some racing. This heavily customized Hunter is now available on the market at a very low asking price. Call Barry at 954-873-1800 to set up your personal preview. Daffy is ready to sail away today. |
