Description: |
Nice 1979 ODay 23 Sailboat with Trailer, Port-a-Potty, Alcohol Stove, Bimini and other sailing accessories. Includes all interior cushions which have always been "garage stored".
This boat has been kept on my boatlift. Although it was "well-secured" during Hurricane Ian, it did suffer the following storm damages which will need repaired to become seaworthy. This damage is all repairable and the repairs are reflected in the firm asking price.
1) The starboard shroud chainplate was pulled from the internal bulkhead and deck allowing the mast to topple to the port side. The tabernacle (mast base) also pulled away from the deck. Both of these areas will need to be repaired and the interior bulkhead replaced.
2) Two of the lifeline stanchions on the port side were bent inward at their base. These can be removed, straightened and replaced. One may need to be re-welded at the base.
3) The port Lewmar winch was broken requiring some replacement parts.
The photos show the boat with a motor which has been removed and is not included. The boat can be seen in Port Charlotte, FL |
