Description: |
Sea Ember is a higher spec 38 C&C Landfall Sloop that is ready to sail and cruise. She is a solid boat with great bones and everything you need to start sailing and cruising. There have been continuous and recent upgrades over the years for both comfort and for reliability and safety. A total of $15,000 of upgrades have been completed over the last four years including new standing rigging, upgraded wiring in the mast, lazy jacks, mast silencer (very quiet at night), new Sunbrella cockpit cover/bimini, new high-end Sunbrella cushions, new Raymarine autohelm, and other items. All the work that has been done over the years has been done with quality and longevity in mind. She is only being sold because the Owners just purchased a larger sailboat. She is very attractive and has all the comforts of home. Sea Ember has been cruised every summer.
Not only is the Landfall 38 designed for cruising, it is a great performing sailing boat as well because the cruising accommodation are inside a performance hull. She is bright inside and has great ventilation. The interior woodwork is gorgeous. The engine was replaced and drive system upgraded in 2006 making her very reliable. She has great visibility from the cockpit. The new canvas in the cockpit provides an additional space to enjoy in all kinds of weather. |
