Description: |
Sea Star was made to cruise oceans and many Beneteau 473 have crossed the Atlantic and more. It's hull shape leads to a wonderful sailing experience. The aft cockpit is large and safe. Dual helms allow for good visibility and control when tacking as well as docking. Sea Star has the two cabin floor plan with 2 ensuite heads. The head off the main salon can be entered from either the salon or the rear cabin. There is also an extra storage room off the very spacious galley. It can also be accessed from the starboard side of the cockpit - and houses the robust Westerbeke generator with plenty of room left over for tools, sails, gear and provisions. The 473 was named Boat of the Year by Boating Magazine for 2001. She has a keel stepped mast, and unlike most 473's SeaStar has dual 50 gallon fuel tanks (for a total of 100 gallons) and also 3 water tanks for a total of 150 gallons. You will not have to clutter your decks with jerry cans! The salon is spacious and filled with light and has quite ample storage. New AC in the salon keeps you very cool even in hot humid conditions. The Reverse cycle heat is cozy in winter or for nights up north.
We have enjoyed sailing her in the Pensacola area and have spent much of 2023/2024 upgrading her with safety and energy conservation as the foremost priorities. Changes in life circumstances require that she pass on to her next owners. SeaStar is currently at Yacht Harbor Marina in Pensacola FL |
