Richard Woods designed Banshee, built by Palamos in England. She is a real performance cruising catamaran,with 20ft beam, allowing for a larger interior, and more stability. Built in fiberglass, she is light,with kick up rudders, you dont have to worry about expensive rudder repairs,and will go into 18" of water,With huge daggerboards, she will easily outpoint any other catamaran in her class,thus allowing quicker passages, and less tacking, she will even sail in 3 knot winds! Brand new $3,500 Yamaha engine,uses under a gallon an hour, new autopilot with warranty, new $1,500 GPS moving map, and new $4,000 high end luxury tramps installed March 1st 2025, over $11k was just spent on her last year. 2 huge real queen berths, plus 2 aft doubles,2 heads, 2 delta anchors, stack pack, great sails,large fat main,roller furler, tiller steering, gally up, 2 new bilge pumps, high end depth finder, not installed. Fresh water 33 years of her life. she has extra safety inboard stanctions. She can sailaway today, but needs new shrouds, and some cosmetics. I am regularly upgrading her, And shroud replacement can easily be done in a day or 2 with new parts, I sailed 2200 miles last year, including sailing through a pretty good storm in the Gulfstream. I am not looking for offers, but will arm wrestle a few dollars, to cover the shrouds and carpet She is the cheapest catamaran with huge berths, bang for the buck, and only a few days sail to the Bahamas. Ps, she has the best rudders on the planet, with light finger control, even in heavy weather. She has a aft tramp to store a dingy,so heavy davits aren't needed. I have had her up to 18 knots in the Gulfstream, of course with the current. there is tax in North Carolina,and Currently has full coverage insurance , which is $500 a year.
