Description: |
Welcome aboard this 1990 Catalina 42, a three-cabin cruising yacht ready for fun with family and friends both at the dock and on the water. She is a well-maintained Catalina three-cabin cruiser that has significant recent upgrades, most recently including new standing rigging and running rigging, new settee upholstery in the main salon, and new dodger and Bimini. Her popular layout with privacy doors on each cabin provides an ideal environment for accommodating people and gear on board. One of her aft cabins has been converted to a storage and work room, which has been particularly useful for living aboard and cruising. The Catalina 42 has had one of the longest production runs in the sailing industry. For 22 years from 1989 through 2011, more than 1,000 boats were built between the Catalina 42 (1989-1995) and the MKII (1995-2011) version. She is built on a solid fiberglass hull and has a lead wing keel with 4-foot, 10-inch draft making her a fit for shallow AICW waters and cruising the Florida Keys. |
