38' Islander Yachts 38C

The Vessel ANDROMEDA is a 1984 Robert Perry Design Islander 38C sailing vessel. Vessel is molded fiberglass construction and is powered by a 4-cylinder Yanmar diesel engine. Aluminum mast, double spreaders and boom. Stainless steel standing riggings with stainless steel fittings. Aft cockpit with steering wheel. The vessel topside is glossy white gel-coat finish and her bottom is painted green.

FUEL: The 55-gallon aluminum fuel tank is located beneath the cockpit sole at midship. Accessible through a 4 stainless steel port in cockpit sole. Fitted with (2) RACOR water separator fuel filters located with easy access under the galley sink. Shut-off valves at the thank and at the filters. All copper and hose fittings and hoses were found in good condition.

FRESHWATER: Subject vessel is fitted with (3) water tanks, one (1) 50-gallon located below port settee and (2) 35-gallon below starboard settee. Total freshwater capacity is approximately 120 gallons; Plumbing in good condition.

GROUND TACKLE: The vessel is fitted with a wood platform anchor davit fitted on the bow. A Fortress type 45# COR anchor is rigged rope with chain pendant. The anchor, anchor rope and chain pendant in good condition.

PUMPS: (1) RULE 12-volt automatic bilge pumps. (1) Automatic freshwater pressure on demand system 12-volt pump. Rule automatic shower sump pump.
Vacuflush toilet.

MAST SAILS & RIGGINGS
Vessel is fitted with a single aluminum mast, all riggings cables, ropes; chain plate in good condition. Vessel is fitted with LEWMAR winches.

NAVIGATION & ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT
Equipped with required navigation lights.
5 DANFORTH magnetic compass.
