As a L44 owner, you will be one of the happy cruisers. It is desirable for many reasons, including build quality, hull strength, FWD seating & door & stairs to the bow.
We planned to own it for many years, which explains the upgrades, but for personal reasons we must sell.
**THINGS TO NOTE**
**You will love how the anchoring system guides everything below, to keep the bow and trampoline clear at all times.
**The L44 has raised door steps which keeps water and dirt out and makes rinsing nice, for those who like a clean boat.
**High clearance - huge difference in large waves - no pounding or following sea, like lower clearance cats.
**The Leopard davit system makes dinghy handling and boarding so much easier & safer.
**This one has the Bulletproof SD60 saildrives.
**Yanmar diesels run smooth, reliable, and efficient, and the range is amazing.
**The L44 is EXTREMELY SPACIOUS. View one in person and see how roomy they are.
**Roomy helm area allows several to enjoy it while cruising. This may not seem important now, but when cruising it makes a wonderful difference.
**Excellent storage capacity.
**DARK WOOD INTERIOR** - never looks dated.
**New Rocna Vulcan 70lb anchor.
I can't say enough about this L44; it is such a stable, safe vessel & handles heavy weather so well; a true privilege to cruise on.
With the forward door and single-level deck, Kids & guests intuitively remain in safe zones (we had grandchildren on the boat, age 5, no problem).
The 4 cabin layout is a must if you plan to share with family and friends and provides lots of space.
Fellow cruisers usually met for fun and eats on our L44 due to space.
