We planned to own it for many years, which explains the upgrades, but must sell for personal reasons.

***THINGS TO NOTE***

**Notice the anchoring system guides everything below, keeping the bow and trampoline clear at all times.
**The L44 has raised door steps, which helps keep water and dirt out, and rinsing nicer for those who like a clean boat.
**High clearance: L44 is a huge difference in large waves; no pounding or following sea like many other cats.
**The Leopard davit system is genius and makes dinghy handling and boarding much safer.
**Merulina has the BULLET-PROOF SD60 saildrives (reconditioned in 2025).
**Yanmar 3JH5E diesels run smooth, reliable, and efficient (range is amazing).
**The L44 is EXTREMELY SPACIOUS.
**Roomy helm allows several to enjoy it while cruising. This may not seem important now, but while cruising it makes a wonderful difference.
**Excellent storage capacity.
**DARK WOOD INTERIOR** never looks dated or cheap.

It is true - the L44 is a remarkably safe, stable vessel, and handles heavy weather extremely well. A true privilege to cruise on.
With the forward door and single-level deck (floor), guests intuitively remain in safe zones (important when children are on the boat).
The 4 cabin layout is great when family and friends visit, and provides easy access storage space between.
Fellow cruisers often met on our L44 to socialize, due to the spacious layout and one level design.
