35.4' Island Packet 35 Dropkeel version

A 1989 Island Packet 35 is a classic blue‑water cruiser known for its shallow draft, full‑keel stability, and liveaboard comfort. The model is widely respected among cruising sailors for its rugged construction and forgiving handling. This specific yacht has been excellently maintained and updated with an excellent cruising history. She is now available in Panama.

This Island Packet 35 is the optional centerboard version giving you a very shallow draft of /- 38 ft with the board up for exploring shoal waters, while still retaining exceptional tracking and stability with the board down (7.2 ft). This variant was less common than the standard fixed-keel 35, making it a desirable choice for sailors who value shallow draft versatility

This yacht just recently hauled out, replaced the cutlass bearing, and the packing in the stuffing box gland of the propeller shaft. Three coats of epoxy primer and three coats of ablative bottom paint make her sail faster and smooth. No need to haul her out for another couple of years
