Rare Hinckley race cruiser. Sparkman and Stephens design built in SW Harbor Maine by true craftsmen and top quality materials. Safe to say they do not build boats like this anymore. This is hull number 13, formerly name Liberte, she wone her class in the Annapolis to Bermuda race back in the 90's This vessel is not a project. She can be sailed away today. She does need the ongoing maintenance expected with any boat of her age.
Recent upgrades and recent survey (2025) help to make this vessel a true sailors boat. Capable of summertime racing or crossing oceans. She has Westerbeke 40, trim tab off the trailing edge of her fin keel, cockpit controls, Pro-furl head sail furler, slab reefing, dated but highly functional electronics including radar, chart plotter, New two burner Eno propane stove oven, EPIRB. winter cover and much more. |
