Two-cabin, two-head layout finished in classic teak with teak-and-holly cabin sole. The spacious aft master stateroom features a centerline berth and private ensuite head with separate shower. A forward guest cabin also includes an ensuite head and shower. The main salon offers a comfortable C-shaped dinette with island seat to port and a straight settee to starboard, along with a forward-facing navigation station to port. Stainless opening ports, opening and fixed hatches, and 12V fans provide good ventilation throughout. Headroom is an impressive 6'8". Climate control is provided by two Cruiseair reverse-cycle air-conditioning units with digital controls.
The galley is well equipped for extended cruising with a Force 10 propane stove and oven (installed in 2008), double stainless sink, and hot and cold pressure water plus manual backup pumps. Refrigeration and freezer are provided by a Grunert system with both 120V and engine-driven capability, offering top and front loading access. Additional features include a microwave oven, water heater (120V/heat exchanger), ample storage cabinetry, and a stern rail mounted grill.
Navigation electronics include a Garmin GPSmap 540 MFD and a Standard Horizon chartplotter. A mast-mounted Furuno radar, Raymarine autopilot, Raymarine wind instrument, and Autohelm speed/depth instruments provide full sailing data. Communications equipment includes a Standard Horizon VHF with RAM mic at the helm, an ICOM VHF, two handheld VHFs, and an SSB radio. Safety equipment includes a 406 EPIRB and four PLBs. Additional onboard electronics include stereo system, compass, clock and barometer, bell, and mast-mounted TV antenna.
The vessel is equipped with both 12V and 110V systems and dual 30-amp shore power connections (one Smart Cord). Interior lighting, navigation lights, and 12V outlets are installed throughout.
The sail inventory includes a Quantum triradial furling mainsail and a Quantum 155% triradial genoa (both new in 2019 and lightly used), along with spare original sails, two symmetrical spinnakers, and a staysail. A Schaefer furling boom and Schaefer 3100 genoa furler were installed in 2019. Deck hardware includes Lewmar self-tailing winches, an electric halyard winch, Harken traveler, rigid vang, adjustable backstay, checkstays, spinnaker and whisker poles, and nine rope clutches. The ICW-friendly mast height is 63 feet.
The hull is finished in striking black Awlgrip with gold cove stripes and red boot stripe. Decks are two-tone gray and white with shoal draft of 5'5". Features include a custom stainless arch, electric Maxwell windlass, stainless primary anchor with chain, Fortress backup anchor, and a stern anchor. The sugar scoop transom provides a large swim platform and storage garage. Additional equipment includes liferaft (out of date), Lifesling, jacklines, radar reflector, parachute anchor, Gale Rider, cockpit shower, and Avon dinghy. The solid fiberglass hull and balsa-cored decks provide strength and durability. Bottom paint was applied in 2024.
Powered by a Yanmar JHTE 62 HP diesel with approximately 4,400 hours, driving a Max feathering propeller. Steering is wheel-controlled with cable system and dripless shaft seal.
