This vessel features a practical two-cabin, one-head layout with 64 of headroom and a classic teak and holly cabin sole. The interior includes a navigation station, a convertible dinette table, and comfortable settees in the main salon. Ventilation is provided by opening ports and hatches, and climate control is handled by a 16,000 BTU reverse-cycle air conditioning system. The forward master cabin offers a V-berth, while the aft guest cabin provides a full berth. The head compartment includes a marine toilet, sink, and shower, making the layout well-suited for cruising.
Galley: The galley is equipped with an alcohol stove and oven, icebox refrigeration, and a microwave oven. A single sink with hot and cold pressurized water is supplied by a water heater, and multiple cabinets provide storage. For outdoor cooking, the boat includes a stern-mounted Magma Kettle grill.
Electronics: Navigation and onboard electronics include a Raymarine wheel autopilot installed in 2017, a Shakespeare SE2500 VHF radio, a Sony stereo system with four speakers, and a magnetic compass.
Electrical: The vessel operates on 12V and 110V electrical systems. Power management includes a 20-amp battery charger replaced in November 2021 and three batteries (two Group 27 and one Group 24) replaced at the same time. Shore power is supplied through a 30-amp service with cord. Interior lighting fixtures were upgraded to LED in 2015, navigation lights were replaced in November 2021, and multiple 12-volt outlets are installed throughout the boat.
Sails & Rigging: The sail inventory includes a Dacron mainsail replaced in 2020 and a 130% Dacron genoa on a Hood 810 roller furler. The rig features a deck-stepped mast, rigid vang, lazy jacks, and a traveler. Winches include Barient 22-39 self-tailing primary winches and a Barient 17 self-tailing halyard winch, with line clutches for control. Four mast blocks were replaced in 2014, and the mast height is approximately 54 feet.
Deck & Hull: The boat has a white hull and two-tone deck with shoal draft of 46, making it suitable for shallow cruising areas. Lifelines were replaced in 2014, and canvas includes a bimini, cockpit table cover, companionway cover, mainsail cover, and genoa UV cover. The cockpit features C-Cushions, a cockpit table, cockpit shower, and a sugar-scoop swim platform with ladder. Ground tackle includes a plow anchor with chain and rode. Additional deck equipment includes an outboard engine bracket, lockers, lifesling, and a heavy-duty Moeller helm seat installed in 2015. The bottom was painted in December 2024 and has 1520 small blisters per square foot just below the gelcoat. The boat was kept in freshwater until 2006, after which it was located on Lake Pontchartrain, a low-salinity brackish lake.
Mechanical: Power is provided by a Yanmar 3GM30F 24-HP diesel engine (serial #1222B) driving a balanced three-blade fixed propeller (balanced in 2015). Steering is wheel-controlled, and the stuffing box was repacked in December 2024. Systems include a 6-gallon water heater, Racor 100 fuel/water separator, and bilge pump replaced in 2019. Maintenance items include oil and filter change in 2023, transmission fluid change in 2023, and impeller replacement in 2021. The boat has aluminum water, fuel, and holding tanks, a macerator pump replaced in 2017, and a manual marine head with Y-valve for overboard discharge or holding tank.
