Whatever angle you take, the Oceanis 45 is a balanced sailing yacht. A very well-proportioned cruiser, she leaves in her wake some very fine performances. Three-cabin, two-head layout with 66 of headroom and a bright light oak interior with taupe padding. The salon is finished with a low-maintenance synthetic laminate cabin sole and includes a navigation station to port with a sliding table, a settee to port, and a Luxe folding and convertible dinette table to starboard. Seating is upholstered in graphite Ultraleather. Climate control is provided by three CruiseAir reverse-cycle air-conditioning units with digital controls, with the salon unit replaced in 2023. Ventilation comes from opening ports with screens, fixed ports, and opening hatches. The forward master cabin features a centerline slatted berth with an en-suite head including an electric toilet, sink, and shower. Two aft guest cabins offer full/queen berths and share a guest head with electric toilet, sink, and separate shower.

The galley is well equipped for cruising and includes a propane two-burner stove with oven, 12-volt front-loading refrigerator, 12-volt top-loading freezer, and microwave oven. A double stainless-steel sink provides hot and cold pressurized water from a 115V water heater with engine heat exchanger, and there is ample storage with surrounding cabinets and countertop workspace.

Navigation electronics are centered around B&G systems, including two Zeus 7" multifunction displays at the twin helms and a Zeus 12" display mounted on a swivel at the cockpit table. Additional electronics include B&G radar, autopilot, wind, speed and depth instruments, two Triton2 repeaters, B&G VHF radio, and AIS 400. Entertainment is provided by a Fusion stereo system and onboard TV.

The electrical system includes 12-volt and 110-volt service, supported by a 60-amp battery charger and batteries replaced in 2022. Shore power is supplied by two 30-amp inlets with two 50-ft cords, and a 2000-watt inverter provides AC power while away from the dock. The boat also carries an Onan Cummins 7.6 kW generator with sound shield and approximately 830 hours. Interior and navigation lights are LED, and multiple 12-volt outlets are installed.

The sail plan includes an in-mast furling mainsail, 140% furling genoa, and asymmetrical cruising spinnaker. The ICW-friendly furling mast measures 636, keeping the rig under typical 64-foot bridge clearance. Sail handling is assisted by electric Harken self-tailing primary and halyard winches, plus an additional Harken winch. The rig also includes a rigid vang, adjustable genoa leads from the cockpit, line clutches, Windex, and a mainsheet arch traveler.

Features a Window Grey hull with white deck, teak cockpit sole, and a low-maintenance synthetic toerail. The shoal draft of 59 allows access to shallow cruising grounds, and a bow thruster aids maneuverability. Canvas including the bimini, dodger, and connector was replaced in 2023. The cockpit is equipped with a Luxe cockpit table, cushions, shower, and swim platform. Ground tackle includes 300 of anchor chain on an electric windlass with cockpit counter and remote, along with an extra bow roller with bobstay. Additional features include bow, cockpit, and lazarette lockers, rubrail, and transom mooring cleats, plus a Tohatsu 6 hp outboard. The bottom is currently due for paint.

Mechanical power comes from a Yanmar 4JH57 diesel engine with approximately 695 hours, driving a three-blade fixed propeller through a saildrive. Steering is handled by twin white composite wheels.
