45' Jeanneau Sun Kiss 45

For your consideration is Griffin, a 1984 Jeanneau Sun Kiss 45 with a newer 1997 Yanmar 4JH2E that runs great... never an issue and starts right up.

The Jeanneau Sun Kiss 45 is a performance-oriented cruiser or racer-cruiser that has a hull speed of 8.18 knots. Designed by Philippe Briand, it was built for fast offshore sailing while offering comfortable liveaboard accommodation, notably winning Class III of the 1983 Transat en Double, a transatlantic race with a crew of two sailors. Griffin has the 3 cabin / owners version layout and a saloon designed for comfort, balancing racing performance with cruiser amenities.

This is an amazing boat. It sails beautifully and is incredibly robust. Built before the days of liners glued to the hull, Griffin has massive stringers and a large lateral stringer running the circumference of the vessel mid-hull.
I will update the listing soon with interior photos. I should mention that I was in the middle of doing maintenance and updating some of the systems when I purchased a home, so some things need to be reinstalled and some maintenance needs to be completed. As these projects are completed the price will reflect that. It is currently priced well below market with that in mind.

Griffin is currently US Coast Guard Documented and registered in Florida. It is also Jones Act exempt... it has never been chartered, but can be because of this.

I still take her out often and can deliver within reason.
