MacGregor 26X Motor Sailer 50HP 4-Stroke Fresh Water Boat and Trailer with Brakes

Boat only used in fresh water (no salt water). Half of its summer sailing life HydroLift stored (under cover elevated above the water) and stored indoors in winter in an aircraft hanger up until the last 3-4 years where its been stored in the driveway under cover.
It has a water ballast with centerboard, weighing 2350-lbs empty, making it easily towed behind most standard sized cars. It has a single axle trailer with surge brakes, bringing the total towing weight to 2700-lbs.
Either Engine Control or Rudder Control Steering.
The wheel steering makes maneuvering like driving a car. Electronic ignition key start, to a deep cell battery recharged by the 50-HP Mercury Big Foot 4-stroke electric start outboard attached by a motorized lift controlled by the throttle handle near the steering wheel.
Will go about 24-mph, and easily pull a water skier.
Two 8-gallon fuel tanks with exterior storage and ports for fueling. The last tuneup, motor and all lines, as well as the fuel storage containers were winterized prior to storing along with new Throttle and Controls.
The included built in mast-raising system is an incredible feature on this boat. It can be done single handed freeing you from having to find a marina to help raise or lower the mast. This system makes it easy to sail or motor places that have bridges that might be to low to sail under, just use your system to partially lower the mast to clear the bridge.
There are 4-sails. One 150-Genoa on a CDI roller furler, one Main, (both have sail covers) along with a NEW NEVER USED STORM JIB, and a NEW NEVER USED BEAUTIFULLY COLORED SPINNAKER! |
