Description:
Leeward is a well-maintained, fast sailing (well over 7 kts in good conditions with a receptive crew or adventurous partner) boat. These boats are known for being comfortable (sleeping as many as seven); with over 6 feet of headroom in main cabin; full galley with gimballed range & large deep refrigerator; teak and oak interior; teak and holly sole in cabin; Yanmar diesel with 2100 hrs; full head with shower plus a cockpit shower. She is capable and seaworthy with a lead keel and in excellent condition. In addition to meticulous maintenance, a number of important upgrades have been performed over the years

Equipment:
Replaced the engine mounts when acquired (in 2012)
Replaced the head (Raritan), all hoses and holding tank with custom rototilled (seamless) plastic tank
Replaced the fuel tank with a custom-made aluminum tank and replaced all hoses/connections
Replaced all lifelines
Replaced the sails (UK Sails) and canvas (sails are stored and cleaned bi-annually at the UK loft)
Replaced all hatches (HatchMaster)
Replaced the anchor chain and rode
Anchor, steam and deck lights are LED as well as most other lights; ultra quiet Caframo fans throughout; bow & stern exhaust fans
New custom installed stereo with Bluetooth
New fuel pump and filter
New bottom paint and PropSpeed coated prop (2026)
All major work performed by boatyard
