She was professionally built by renowned Dutch boat builder Jack Hofland at Spearwood Shipyard, Western Australia: solid 6 mm round-bilge steel, 4 mm deck, counter stern, shallow-draught (1.5 m) full cruising keel with lead ballast, and full spray-foam insulation above the waterline.

Round-chined steel is rare and prized: immensely strong, quiet under way, cool in the tropics and warm in the high latitudes. A true centre-cockpit cruiser: the layout splits the living and sleeping spaces for a drier, safer helm and real privacy below. Immaculately maintained, with a recent May 2026 haul-out (new antifoul, fresh anodes, Propspeed on the feathering propeller), the hard work and money has been spent, she is ready to cruise.
