42' S & J 42 DS CB ALU Ketch

SV ALETIS is a rare custom-built 42 aluminum bluewater ketch with deck saloon, fully retractable centerboard, and twin skeg-protected rudders. German flag, EU VAT paid, currently located in Colombia and sailing back toward Portugal.

Built for serious offshore cruising, she combines excellent upwind performance with shallow-water capability, reducing draft from 82 (2.50 m) to only 39 (1.15 m). The centerboard retracts completely into the hull, allowing access to anchorages unavailable to most bluewater yachts.

Unlike modern production boats, ALETIS offers an uncompromising combination of aluminum construction, raised deck saloon, ketch rig, twin rudders with skegs, and drying-out capabilityfeatures rarely found together on todays market.
