Description:
Dulcinea is a fast-cruising sailboat. For instance, she can sail at 9 knots with a full main and genoa at 17-20 knots with beam reach. The boat has accommodations for 5 people. She is equipped for long passages with 50 gallons per hour water maker, 800 watts solar panels, 400 watts wind turbine, 2 electronic chart plotters with 9 and 12 screens, a digital radar, two VHF radios with AIS system, Starlink antenna, an Iridium phone, a Monitor Windvane and an oversized standing rigging with titanium chain plates.
Dulcinea can accommodate 5 people with a double V berth in the bow, 2 settees on the main saloon and 1 on the starboard side.

Starting with the bow, the boat as a chain anchor locker. On deck a powerful windlass is located. The V berth has wood lockers on starboard and port and cargo compartments under it. The first section of the compartment has anchor lines, the second section has a holding tank with capacity of 20 gallons and the third section has a 30 gallons flexible diesel tank.

The heat is at the port side with a separated area for the shower. On the starboard side is a large size closet.
Walking toward the stern is the main saloon with the 2 settees on starboard and port side and a dining table on the port side. There are closed lockers on both sizes on the top and bottom with good capacity for equipment and food. Also 2 aluminum water tanks are located under the settees with a capacity of 30 gallons each. Under the floor on this area is a stainless diesel tank with a 50 gallons capacity. Further back there is a step up into the galley at the port side and a navigation table at the starboard side. At the galley there is a stainless cardanic stove, a refrigerator and ice box. The sink is also from stainless steel.

At the navigation table there is a 12 screen connected to the chart plotter, GPS, and digital radar. Near the navigation table the boat has a VHF radio, the screen for the solar panels and the wind turbine and the switch panel. Under the navigation table there is a cargo compartment where the water maker pumps and filters are located.

Equipment:
Propulsion

Perkins Prima 50 HP with 2,700 hours. Under the stairs is where the engine in located. The engine was checked by a professional mechanic before the voyage to French Polynesia. At that time a new Perkins engine panel was installed with all the new electric wire harness. A new timing bell was also installed. Oil and fuel filters were replaced. The support of the engine was adjusted and checked for alignment. The shaft is in good condition and is connected to a Martec 3 blade feathered propeller. The propeller was also checked and adjusted. According to our experience, we estimated that the engine consumed half a gallon per hour when moving at 5 knots.
