Description: |
Designed by renowned naval architects Gilbert Caroff and Duflot, and meticulously constructed by the Raymond Laflamme Metanav Shipyard, the Angelina 59 represents the pinnacle of robust, custom steel yacht building. Originally launched in 1999 as a specific order and unity build, this magnificent vessel has been heavily engineered for the absolute highest levels of durability and ocean-going security. Featuring exceptional hull integrity, high-quality urethane foam insulation, and a beautiful American cherry wood interior, this vessel represents the timeless legacy of a true blue-water cruiser built to tackle global expeditions.
The Angelina 59 configuration is engineered for ultimate flexibility and safety, showcasing a masterfully designed centerboard hull layout with 3 chines and bi-rudders, drawing just 3.3 feet with the board up or up to 9.2 feet with the board down. Step onto a spacious and safe cockpit space that stands completely protected by a rigid welded aluminum pilot house/dodger (installed 2021), offering an integrated deck saloon with dual destroyer-style helm stations. Major inside modifications and updates welcome you into a comfortable cabin layout boasting an abundance of light, a wide companionway, a generous C-shaped salon seating area on starboard, and an L-shaped galley on port. Moving forward, the passage opens into a middle cabin, a head with an integrated shower, and a private master cabin in the fore peak. Mechanically, she features a premium twin motorization setup. She is powered with twin, highly efficient Yanmar 4JH80 turbocharged & intercooled diesel engines generating 80HP (60BHP) each. This entire propulsion system features heavy-duty 1.5-inch stainless steel shafts, rotative PSS shaft seals, cutlass bearings, flexible couplers, Groco raw water strainers, and twin Michigan Dyna Jet 3-blade bronze propellers. |
