18.50' Hurley Marine Alacrity

Project twin-keel sailboat. Came to me with a damaged starboard side keel.See photos Suspect it was water freeze/thaw damage that split or tore the keel open. Needs FG repair/rebuild of keel, and new ballast 240 Lb.

Has outboard motor mountsee photos no motor, estimate 4 HP would be good.

Has transom hung rudder with tiller.

Boat is currently on single axle trailer, not included did not come with boat to me. May consider selling galvanized trailer. Make an offer? Otherwise, can help you deliver boat to your local driveway or yard, and lift off the trailer. Boat will fit in a typical garage for winter project.

Could be a good parent/childeren project.

Has rugged galvanized tabernacle mast base for easy mast raising/lowering.

I have too many other projects boats and house and need to create more space in the yard, so this boat must go. Hope to find someone to take it on as a worthy project. Don't want to scrap it.

The Alacrity with white hull shown is a stock photo of the boat to give you an idea of the design. Blue hull boat is actual one offered, from a few years ago. Plan to move boat and take new ones and add to this listing in future.

No motor included. Set up for a outboard.

Includes mast, boom, standing rigging.

I believe that I have a main, jib, somewhere, not sure of the condition. Sails are fairly small, so relatively reasonable I would expect, either new or from one of the used sail sites.
