The Boat
1980 RL24, Serial # RLT 11303 M80J. The RL24 is the largest-selllng sailboat in Australia, with nearly 1000 sold worldwide. 24 feet long, stock weight was1,650 pounds, including 350-pound swing keel. Keel down draws 4.25 feet, keel up she draws about 16 inches.

Designed for racing, was ultralight. Now strengthened and reinforced.
