42' Sabre 42 CB

I acquired this boat in 2005 and have been working on a complete re-fitting since then. But my notion of taking her out of the bay for extended cruising and the time available for the attention she deserves have been diluted by other adventures. Her sailing characteristics are classic Sabre, completely balanced helm, rock solid performance.
Mine is the single aft head model, 1988 hull 36, c/b, that I acquired in 2005 and have been continually refitting her since then. Interior cushions and woodwork are in very good condition. The sole had damage from the usual Sabre lack of drainage at the mast base problem, However, the mast step itself was okay, I put a solid base of epoxy over this, made sure there was a proper limber hole to drain and completely replaced the sole.
Repowered with a W55C, which included replacing the 2 inch exhaust with 3 inch and a new Vetus water lift muffler; also new transmission and Aquadrive universal joint coupling to the shaft. Prop is 2-blade 18-10RH. Goretex GFO for the stuffing box, never a problem. Engine hours are about 550, recent replacement all filters, speed cover for impeller, recent full flush of fresh water side in engine.
All new rod rigging done by Cheasapeake Rigging including a complete overhaul of the mast, new splice, powder coat etc, reset with Spartite and boot cover, including Tides sail track and separate storm sail track. New Harken furler. All new running rigging including spare jib halyard and spin halyard; and life lines. New c/b cable
New full battened main (4) from Doyle with some roach and two reef points. New 135-140 jib with foam luff, keeps good shape to 90-100%. New stackpack (2018 ) for the main.
Converted to propane (locker has proper drain and vent), new Force Ten three burner stove/oven. New Danfoss compressor and coil in ice box for refrig.. New freshwater pump and some lines. New Raritan head.
