Description: |
A classic Morgan 34 with an unusually well-known history. This boat was purchased new in 1968 by our familys next-door neighbor, and I first sailed aboard her that same year when I was 8 years old. She was later sold to my father and eventually passed on to me, so her history has been known to our family since the day she was launched. Homeported in Lindenhurst, New York, she is sailed regularly on the Great South Bay and has extensive cruising history along the East Coast, from Maine to Florida and across to the Bahamas. Over the years she has been continually maintained and thoughtfully upgraded while retaining the character and sailing qualities of the original Charles Morgan design. She is a comfortable, capable cruiser with a shallow-draft centerboard configuration and numerous significant upgrades to her engine, sails, rigging, steering, electrical and onboard systems. |
