27' Ericson 27

Airborne is a Bruce King-designed Ericson 27, a well-mannered, quick 27-footer that has sailed Lake Union, Puget Sound and the San Juans with the same owners since 1990. She's raced in the Duck Dodge and cruised with a dinghy in tow. We raised our son on her. Selling because we're moving to a bigger race boat, not because anything's wrong with her. $5,900 OBO.

Runs and sails: Atomic 4 inboard that starts and runs every time, fresh-water cooled, raw-water impeller recently replaced, engine panel in the cockpit. Hauled out last winter.

Down below: clean and dry, with tidy teak joinery and good cushions. V-berth, two settees, a galley with a sink and a two-burner kerosene stove (one burner works; not used in years), a kerosene cabin heater (also not used in years), and an enclosed head with a marine toilet.

What you should know: the standing rigging is old, and she's priced accordingly. The running rigging is sound, just weathered and not pretty. Sold as-is; a survey is welcome at your cost. She lives at Northlake Marina on Lake Union in Seattle. The slip does not transfer, so you'll need your own moorage.
