// Accommodations & Deck Layout

Designed by Umberto Felci with interiors by Patrick Roso, the Dufour 44 Performance offers a practical three-cabin, two-head arrangement with sleeping accommodations for up to eight.

Below decks, a spacious saloon with approximately 6'4" headroom includes an L-shaped dining area, starboard settee, and two additional sea berths. The U-shaped galley features an Isotherm refrigerator, portable Engel fridge/freezer, ENO gimballed stove with oven, double stainless-steel sinks, and ample storage.

The forward owner's cabin and two aft double cabins provide comfortable accommodations for family cruising or guests. Salon air conditioning, opening hatches, and cabin fans add to onboard comfort.

On deck, the cockpit is arranged for efficient sail handling, with six Harken winches, lines led aft, hydraulic backstay adjustment, and Harken roller furling. Teak decks were replaced in 2015, while the dodger and bimini received updates in 2025. A sugar-scoop transom with swim ladder and hot-and-cold shower provides convenient water access.

The Dufour 44 Performance features a fractional sloop rig, bulb keel, and spade rudder, offering the sailing characteristics of a performance-oriented cruiser while retaining the space and equipment required for offshore passages.
