The Portland Pudgy is an 8-foot, multi-functional rigid dinghy designed primarily as a rugged
yacht tender and an unsinkable, dynamic self-rescue lifeboat. Manufactured in Portland, Maine,
out of rotation-molded polyethylene, it functions as a rowboat, motorboat, sailing dinghy, and
a proactive survival craft. Unlike standard inflatable life rafts that leave sailors waiting passively
for rescue, the Pudgy can be actively sailed or motored to safety even under survival conditions
