#27 was built by Carroll Marine in 1996. It is very stiff and fast. She is very exciting in heavy air and still very perky in the light stuff.
The boat was completely retrofitted by New England Boatworks in 2013. They rebuilt the deck, stripped and refinished the topsides, and replaced most of the deck hardware. I also re-sealed all of the deck fittings with new fasteners. The engine was replaced in the late 00’s and runs very well (can get up to about 7 knots). The boat has a brand new mast and standing rigging (half a season), also very good running rigging.
I bought the boat (Lila) in Ontario in the winter of 2013 and had a great year sailing in a fleet of three in New York. However it is time for me to move on.
Equipment:
I had a removable custom 42” carbon bowsprit built and matched it with a custom Quantum 1005 sqft. Mast-head asymmetric that makes reaching an absolute blast. The boat also has all the pieces to be class legal.
-Triad trailer -All safety equipment
Two full sets of sails (Quantum & North). Available 2011 regatta-ready Quantum set.
