27' Helms 27

Swamp Fox, a Helms 27 located on Lake Murray in Lexington, SC. We have recently finished our extensive renovation on this boat and have enjoyed sailing for the past three years. Rescued after years of sitting in the water (fresh) she is now rejuvenated and an absolute joy to sail. Bottom paint is two years old and we have spent hours testoring the hull. All the running rigging has been replaced and the mast has been rewired. The interior wood work has been completely refinished, down to hand polishing all the stainless steel crews and gromets. Handmade custom curtains and hatch, winch and deck covers. The head has been replaced with a portable head. The main sail is original but has been refurbished. The 13 hp Yanmar is rock steady and has never failed us. The fuel system was renovated two years ago. She was originally setup to race but we ave used it to cruise on the weekends. This boat is beamy and and easy to sail. She is quick and nimble and can bring you years of enjoyment.
