Description: |
I bought this hunter 340 two years ago at Racine Riverside Marina, WI. She was a freshwater very lightly used boat before me that spent at least half of every year on hard. She has only 940 engine hours when I bought her. A big blister work has been done by previous owner in 2011 so she has no blisters now. I’ve been sailing her from June 2015 to June 2016. The route was Great Lakes – down Mississippi river and Tenntomm waterway to Mobil, Al – Key West, Fl – Habana and Cienfuegos, Cuba – Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamaica – Ile a Vache, Haiti – Barahona and Samana, Dominican Republic – Turks and Caicos Islands – Bahamas – Jacksonville, Fl. The whole route is about 6 000 nm. During the trip “Hunter 340” was fine, easy sailing boat with a lot of room to liveaboard up to five person. Singlehanded sailing is a bit difficult as a mainsail has very strong slides and it hard to hoist and drop it, but two crew is enough to sail her easily. I must sale her right now as it time to go back to work for several years. I have two survey reports 2011 and 2014 and I can sent it on demand and I’m ready to answer any questions about her condition, features and installed devices.
So Hunter 340 “Mamushka” is waiting for a new owner and she is ready to new Caribbean adventure or just liveaboard or to continue the loop. |
