Description: |
Quality build, solid and beautiful go anywhere Cruising boat. Very well maintained, very well equipped and ready to go on for new adventures. We are only the third owners and have sailed her from Sea of Cortez, Mexico, Central America and Ecuador, before crossing to French Polynesia 4 years ago. Since then we have enjoyed cruising "locally" here, the territory is as big as Europe, and counts a few hundred Islands, so you could spend a lifetime exploring here.
We papeetizised the boat last year, meaning the import duty is paid and the boat can stay indefinitely here if the next owner so wish.
A extensive haul-out is underway since April 20 and is scheduled for relaunching end of June, then it's a case of "fly in and sail out" I've stripped the bottom down to bare fibreglass, and redone the epoxy barrier coatings. This was due after at least 18 years since last time. New topside PU job also 'while at it' as well as a major refit of the hard dinghy, a ply/epoxy Sam Devlin design that rows like a dream and sports a Nissan 3.5 for those rare occassions when current or distance makes rowing less enjoyable.
Great opportunity, due to family issues we sill have to return to Europe for a couple of years, otherwise we would never part company with this boat, |
