"The Good News is a 1976, 33'MK-1 (custom) center cockpit w/pass through) sloop re-powered in 1989 with a Westerbeke 42-b diesel engine currently with 1140 hours.She was hauled and bottom done in November 2017, new salt water impeller. An older solid vessel with some minor flaws and blemishes, but strong build, sails or motors well. This documented vessel was purchased in Baltimore Maryland and sailed the Chesapeake Bay, and the Atlantic coast( ICW & offshore legs) to Florida where the vessel is currently moored. Just put her back in the water. I've been sailing another boat for a ministry and The Good News has been in dry storage. (Sorry if you didnt get a response from me as I was out of the country on a mission trip most of January & February.)

Equipment:

1989 Westerbeke 42-b diesel (1140 hrs.) older radar,wind speed,
older ST-4000autohelm w/spare drive motor, AM/FM stereo,vhf & ssb radios.
Roller furling, light air (good)and standard 150 genoa (needs sacrificial cloth but strong) Main is fair, Danforth and 45 pound cqr anchors. 3, 12v. and manual whale gusher bilge pumps. Force 10 cabin heater, & 3 burner stove w/oven. Dometic 12v. & gas fridge 1 head forward with holding tank bladder bag, hardly ever used. Emergency tiller, cabin bulkhead Edson wheel steering, mast has steps for climbing. Cockpit cushions, hardtop Bimini, plexiglass windscreen, lispare canvas dodger,life jackets, fire extinguishers, Safety netting on stantions. Water system needs trouble shooting. Stern hinged boarding ladder, lifesling....many extras.
