Crowther 220 wish bone rig designed performance cruising catamaran.
The structural integrity of a serious blue water catamaran was my first priority when choosing a cruising catamaran.
It was important that the design had windward performance, stability without a hobby horse motion. Good bridge deck clearance, sailed well and was easy to handle.
Comfortable when on passage and at anchor.
I needed the ability to sail single handed if required which makes this craft easy to handle when sailing.
Crowther designs have a proven history that many others have implemented in the design of catamarans, notably the Catana hulls.
Famed muli-hull designer of Australia. Among his most notable designs were the Bucaneer & Kraken series trimarans, Spindrift 45 & Catana 40 cats, as well as a great number of other cruising, racing, charter/commercial and power cats and tris.
The spacious 220 design (Catana hulls) has proven itself time and time again with us. We have enjoyed many comfortable passages to fantastic cruising grounds while having the comforts of home on board.
With spacious cabins and living areas for our family, friends and guests, we have enjoyed many memorable and fun times in other parts of the world.
Maldives Islands, PNG, Solomons, Vanuatu, Indonesia, Sumatra, Thailand, Malaysia and Australia west to east coasts. Abrolos islands Montebellos, Rowley Shoals the Kimberly and the Great Barrier Reef and more.
