Description: |
1978 San Juan 24 successfully raced for years, retired to cruising when I bought a bigger boat to race. A great, seaworthy, easily handled little boat. Maintenance over the years has included rebuilding, reinforcing chainplates and recoring deck. Stored under a good tarp. The San Juan 24, designed by Bruce Kirby, had the most numerous quarter tonner certificates of any boat, and it was designed before IOR went crazy, so it's a good boat. |
Equipment: |
Sails include main, blade, 155 and 163 genoa, spinnakers; Harken roller furling & lazyjacks; self tailing winches, custom dual axle trailer is overbuilt; outboard is last year of old style 2 cycle Johnson, low time. Wired for two batteries and solar charger (not included) Could include custom A frame for mast raising. |
