Description: |
This 1978 32 foot Islander Mark II is ready for island hopping the Caribbean/Bahamas islands, or as a live aboard. The 4 foot shoal draft is perfect for coastal cruising and shallow beach anchorages, while the spacious interior and ample storage make living comfortable. The wide beam and high ceilings make the interior of this boat feel much larger than its length. The solar and wind power make this boat an excellent off-grid option, but the shore power AC systems allow for marina living also. The interior is all original and well-maintained teak, with excellent lighting through generous portholes and two plexiglass hatches. The galley is well laid out, with an AC/DC refrigerator, a large ice box, and a 4 burner propane stove. This boat sleeps six, with a double v-berth, fold out double bed settee, single settee and single quarter berth. The companion way stairs are at a gentle angle, easy to enter and exit while sailing. Engine access from lazaretto, removable companionway stairs, and two side cupboards |
