52' Franz maas Little harbor prototype

52 Foot Hood-designed yawl with go-any-where capabilities :insulated high-strength steel hull for icy conditions and shallow draft (<5 Feet) for the Bahamas.
She sleeps eight in four cabins (see drawing), has two heads (with holding tank), one shower.
The Bermuda Robin is fully equipped and ready to go on very short notice.
Owners circumstances force sale at $126,000 -which is half of investment of $252,000 for extensive rebuild completed in 2012.
The "Bermuda Robin" is Coast Guard documented. She was built 1966 by Franz Maas in Holland for Ted Hood, who won many races with her,
including the 1968 Bermuda Race, (overall)
Since her rebuild she made shake down cruises NY to Nantucket and the Gulf of Mexico (500 engine hours). She is stored on land in Hampstead, NC.
At rebuild her appearance and interior were kept mostly intact, but all equipment was replaced. New were the following:

Entec West diesel generator 4.2 kw
AC/DC freezer
Force Ten four burner stove (with 6 bottles of gas)
Inverter 2800 W
charger 125 Watt
300 A Balmar engine driven alternator (separate from engine)
solar panels
1080 gel batteries
Furuno auto pilot and depth sensors
6 sump pumps 2 manual heads
all wiring, plumbing, cushions and china
Jordan droque
60 pound St. St. plow type anchor on bow with 200 Feet chain
3 additional anchors with rode
Hood genua furler
She also has radar, sailing dinghy on davits, permanent folding boarding ladder, extensive tools & spare parts.
Her sails consist of mizzen(new) on a fully supported mast, a Dutchman main, genua on furler and two fore sails on permanently installed booms for extended down wind sailing
She has a dagger board for up-wind performance.
Her crew safety is outstanding: from an interior equipped with extensive hand holds crew may go on deck clipped on and proceed forward attached to a safety hand rail.
Her steering station is partially weather protected with excellent visibility of all instruments

Her cabin sides and roof beams are reinforced with aluminum plate, windows double glazed. Two extra large cockpit drains and strongly reinforced life line stanchions.
