Selling my 1979 Oday 25 sail boat $4500 negotiable. Nice sailboat sleeps 4. You can comfortably sail with 6 people but we've squeezed in 8. Retractable keel is great for the south shore, only draws 2ft 4 inch. Everything is in top working condition with the following upgrades:

Replaced all the wiring and fuse box within the last 4 years. Added, 2 fresh water pumps, and a rinse hose by the boarding ladder. Porta potty is barely used. New inclinometer and replaced deck pulleys. All new running rigging, and halyards replaced 4 years ago. Standing rigging serviced and tuned recently.

Motor is a 2009 mercury 9.9 hp outboard. It has electric start but not wired in yet. Rebuilt carburetor 2 weeks ago, all new seals and gaskets, running perfectly.

4 sails included. Mainsail, Jib, Genoa, asymmetrical spinnaker with dousing sock. Sails are old but in Fair condition. Boat flies downwind with the asym spinnaker and its a lot of fun.

Boat is in water in canal behind house in Amityville NY, dockage included for the rest of the season or take it to your marina. Willing to help sail it to your marina. Also possible to trailer with the right trailer.

Willing to demo and test sail with serious buyers. Also willing to provide lessons for free to newbies after purchase. O'day's are extremely easy to sail and perfect for someone starting out sailing.
