I'm helping my Dad sell the hull of his dream sailboat he was going to build. He's 79, and he's just coming to terms with the fact that he will never build it. And I'd like to help him see some consolation for the dreams he had.
It's very cool... we have all the records and photos from the transom being altered, from the hull being constructed, filling the keel. We have all the original designs for design and building. Apparently, this design is quite rare. Only 4 of its kind were built. And Dad had the transom redesign, so this is actually the only one of its kind.
Dad says the boat was designed for a 100HP Detroit Diesel engine.
(IN the boat is approx. 7500lbs of lead from two other small boat keels.)
I'd love to hear your offer.
I'm hoping to honor my Dad by finding someone who can appreciate this, so he can feel like there is a potential future for an old dream of his.
