Description:
1985 Steel Cutter-Rigged Sloop
manufactured by Schwarz Marine Company, Two Rivers, Wisconsin
Charles W. Wittholz design with a Brewer Bite
Original Name was Sarah, now Kilifi
Hull built from Corten steel, 1/4 thick plating from the chine down, 3/16 above with a 5/8 thick keel shoe. Ballast is concrete with steel punchings. Chain plates are all stainless.
Cap rails refitted with 316 stainless tubing.
Cabin sides are mahogany. Cabin top glass over marine ply on laminated ribs.

Equipment:
-Atomic 3-cyl Deisel engine
-Full suit of sails (Main, Roller furling Genoa, Staysail and Storm Jib)
-Head with manual flush toilet, counter top/drawres/storage
-Galley with Force 10 stove (Diesel or Kerosene)
-2 quarter berths and a V berth which converts to a seating area with table
-Newport Heater by Dickinson (Diesel or Kerosene)
-Lots of Boat Bits, including solar panel, kitchenware, ropes, fenders, rigging parts and spares for engine
-Original line drawings, photos of boat during construction, old logs, etc.
