Description: |
This is one of the best built, most functional sailboats ever designed.
It comes with 2 good sails (an in-mast furling Main sail & roller-furling 155 Genoa from Bacon Sails in Annapolis) that make single-handling a breeze & allow her to be enjoyed in even the lightest of winds.
It was bottom painted then used only 1 short season.
The interior & cushions are in good shape.
I bought it with a 1978 Evinrude 6 hp long-shaft outboard. Alternatively, I can sell it with a very good Yamaha 2-stroke 6 hp long-shaft outboard for an additional $600.
It comes with a 1988 Long brand double-axle trailer.
Her cockpit measures almost 8' square, larger than most sailboats & allowing plenty of room for you & your crew to enjoy her under sail or shore-side for sun-downers.
The pop-top cabin allows full standing room in the cabin while maintaining clear sight lines from the cockpit.
The combination keel/diamondboard design makes her easy to sail in shallow water (with the diamondboard retracted) while also providing maximum stability when the full diamondboard is let down via an easy to operate line right in the cockpit.
The Cabin combines comfort & function in an unmatched blend of creativity & perfection. The V-Berth comfortably sleeps two while the settee converts to a queen size berth in the main saloon. There is a sink & cooler in the galley area, plus a dedicated space for the porta-potty head. |
