Our 29 ft Sloop is on the hard, but ready to sail!
With a sad heart we are selling our beloved Kokomo! She is a 1974 CAL-29, Racer/Cruiser.
We have had her for almost 4 years, and in that time we sailed her down to the Bahamas and back. Her previous owner was a boat builder and a lot of care was put into her before she came under our wing. Having been made in the early 1970s she is in great condition.
Kokomo has had quite a life, and she is by no means done her adventures at sea. Under our care we sailed her down south and back, and then spent our summers cruising Lake Ontario. She is a fresh water boat and does not have any delamination or infiltration.
With a draft of 4.6, we were able to navigate into the shallows and anchor where other sailboats close to our size could not, alas this does not mean we were free from running aground!
The cockpit is relatively large for a 29 ft sailboat. This was great because we had 3 crew and a cat living on board for the duration of our trip down south!
HULL
3 layers of Micron CSC. Ready for launch.
She has been exfoliated, resanded, with a new barrier layer of epoxy, and antifouling as of Summer 2017.
The added green antifouling on the keel was added in Summer 2019.
CANVAS
We were in the midst of repairing our dodger and bimini, we have purchased a large roll of white weather proof canvas, and clear UV plastic for the windows.

Minor Details: Her interior paint is chipping and some of the interior trim is missing.
She has all the basics for anyone who wants to get out there and adventure!
